We got a menu once we sat down for our flight to Tokyo.
For starters we had Smoked Salmon and some goat cheese with wine.
For Dinner I went with the Beef and William went with the Salmon.

Unfortunately I didnt take pics of the seats, but there was so much space that I didnt feel like I was buckled in correctly. The chairs fully reclined and we had a pretty good choice of movies. I watched Juno and No Country for Old Men. Here are my quick reviews:
- Juno - very good, not enough Michael Cera.
- No Country For Old Men - I dont get it. It seemed to go on forever then ended suddenly. Plus I was almost all the way through the movie before I realized it was set in 1980. I guess that explains the bad clothes.
Breakfast
There were also a few snacks in between meals which I didn't wake William for. Overall, for a 13 hour flight it wasn't too bad.

Overall, the airplane food was pretty good. I was quite surprised that the salmon tasted as good as it did and was not overcooked. If they put a Starbucks in first class I don't think I could fly coach again.
I am jealous of your movie selection. Crappy movies that I've watched on airplanes include Mr. Deeds, Talladega Nights, and The Break-Up. But you guys got Academy Award winners! And I'm surprised you didn't like No Country, I thought it kicked ass.
