Leg one of the Hong Kong trip has kicked off without a hitch. William and I are sitting in the Detroit airport waiting for flight number two to Tokyo.
This is my first time in Detroit but I cannot count it since I am not leaving the airport. William on the other hand allows himself to say he has been in a city if he lands in that airport. According to my own personal rules, I can only say I have been in the Detroit Airport.
Am I right or wrong?
The terminal we are sitting in has a monorail just like the ones they have in Shelbyville, Ogdonville and North Haverbrook.
2 hours till leg two of the trip, which consists of a 13 hour flight to Tokyo. For now I will be sitting here with my eyes peeled for celebrities and weird occurrences.

I'm with William on this one. In the list of states I've been to, I always include Illinois and Texas even though I never left O'Hare or Dallas Fort Worth airports.
I also say I've been to Belgium although all I did was eat lunch at a bus station in Brussels on my way from Paris to Amsterdam.
SCORE: William 1, Ray 0
